Shelly Lingo is a dedicated educator with 24 years of experience in public education. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of leadership and instructional roles, including math teacher, instructional coach, senior operations director, assistant principal, and currently principal of Jourdanton Early Childhood Center. Her diverse experiences have given her a deep understanding of the systems and supports needed to help both teachers and students thrive.Shelly is passionate about creating effective systems that empower educators and provide students with the tools they need to excel academically, socially, and emotionally. She is committed to supporting teachers through collaboration and professional growth while fostering innovative initiatives that promote student achievement. As principal, she works closely with her Pre-K teachers to create meaningful outdoor learning opportunities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and hands-on exploration. Shelly believes that strong relationships, purposeful systems, and engaging learning environments are the foundation for teacher success and lifelong learning for every child.
