Kathryn Royal is a dedicated educator with seven years of teaching experience and a passion for creating engaging, student-centered learning environments. She believes children learn best through play and hands-on exploration, and she has successfully implemented a play-based classroom model, including a desk-free learning space that encourages collaboration, creativity, and active learning. By organizing her classroom into purposeful learning centers, Kathryn fosters critical thinking, meaningful social interactions, and academic growth for every student. In addition to her work in the classroom, she serves as the district's Gifted and Talented (GT) Coordinator, providing enriching opportunities that challenge and inspire advanced learners. Kathryn is committed to creating inclusive, innovative learning experiences that help all students develop a lifelong love of learning.
